Head Coach: Cecil Cushman (first season)
Overall Record:5-3
Cecil Cushman took over for Tipton after just one season, becoming the fourth coach of Lions Basketball. In Cushman's only season he guided ET to a respectable 5-3 season, including wins over Burleson, Wesley, a sweep of Southeastern Oklahoma, and a win over the Sherman YMCA. Yet the Lions still couldn't tackle Sam Houston, losing both games against the Bearkats that season. The second game against the Sherman "Y" was allegedly contested by professional players for the opposing Bulldogs.
