Head Coach: Russell Jernigan (First Season)
Overall Record: 4-3
The fifth coach of A&M-Commerce Lion basketball took the reins in 1921. Russell Jernigan got the Lions off to a fast start, winning two games against Texas Wesleyan and splitting two games with Austin College. The Lions also took down Dallas University, but then some stiffer competition came to town in the form of TCU. The Lions almost got the Horned Frogs in the first game, losing 45-39; but the second game TCU really showed their dominance, drubbing A&M-Commerce 56-21.
