Head Coach: Joe Murphy (First Season)
Overall Record: 4-6
Joe Murphy became A&M-Commerce's sixth head basketball coach in 1924, and his squad struggled quite a bit out of the gate. The Lions lost their first four games of the season, including tough losses to Hardin-Simmons and Abilene Christian. Thankfully Murphy was able to right the ship a bit with back-to-back wins over McMurry, but North Texas drubbed the Lions twice to send A&M-Commerce reeling again. The season ended with wins over Trinity and Austin College.
