Head Coach: Jerry Matthews (8th Season)
Overall Record: 99-126, 42-53 LSC

Second Team All-LSC
Darrell Williams

Honorable Mention All-LSC
Hosea Lee

Coach Matthews and his Lions struggled once again in his final season in Commerce; they finished 1990 with a 9-18 record, and just 5-9 in the LSC. A&M-Commerce got out to a horrible start, losing their first five games. A three-game win streak kept the boat afloat for a bit, but the Lions were once again bailing water son after, losing three in a row. Conference play looked like it might once again prove to be the Lions' salvation, as they quickly won four of their first five LSC games, but then the proce
eded to lose eight of their final nine. In the first round of the conference tournament the Lions lost 83-79.

Darrell Williams was the main offensive threat in 1990, scoring 579 points. He averaged 21.4 ppg. Williams also led in boards (213) and blocks (10). Hosea Lee once again acted as the quarterback, assisting on 161 baskets. He had a 1.87-to-1 assist/turnover ratio. Lee also led in steals, pickpocketing 54 times.

Williams was named Second Team All-LSC, and Lee got an Honorable Mention All-LSC nod.
