7th in the Lone Star Conference
Head Coach: Paul Peak (1st Season)
Overall Record: 7-19, 1-11 LSC

Second Team All-LSC
Tahaun Ford

Paul Peak became the 19th head coach of A&M-Commerce Men's Basketball in 1991. His first season was rather difficult though; he went just 7-19 overall and 1-11 in the LSC. The Lions lost seven of their first eight, but rebounded quickly with five straight wins. Unfortunately, the season ended with 12 losses in 13 games, including 10 consecutive losses. This was the school?s fewest conference wins since 1967.

Tahaun Ford led the Lions in scoring (436 points) rebounding (187), steals (62) and assists (41), and Nathaniel Sneed swatted the most shots with 20 blocks.

Ford was the only Lion to earn an individual award in 1991. He was named to the Second Team All-LSC.
