Sixth in the Lone Star Conference
Head Coach: Sam Walker (2nd Season)
Overall Record: 27-29, 11-13 LSC)

First Team All-LSC
Tyrone Palmer

Honorable Mention All-LSC
Ross Hodge

The sophomore slumps struck again in Walker's second season at the helm. A&M-Commerce finished with a 10-19 record, and 4-8 in the LSC. The schedule was not very kind to the Lions, as they struggled mightily on the road with a 1-11 away record. Things weren't much better in the friendly confines of the Field House, as the Lions finished with a 9-8 record at home. The season ended with a loss to Tarleton State in Stephenville, and the Lions missing the LSC tournament.

Tyrone Palmer led the charge on offense with 533 total points, 58 made threes, and 181 rebounds. He also led the Lions in blocks with 28. Ross Hodge was a defensive force with 43 steals, and set the A&M-Commerce record for assists in a season with 213.

Palmer and Hodge were the only Lions honored as individuals; Palmer with a First Team All-LSC award and Hodge with an Honorable Mention.
