Walker's squad continued its winning ways in 2010 with an 18-9 record, and secured the second seed in the LSC North with an 8-4 conference mark. The Lions won their first five games, including a 102-98 overtime win at Angelo State. The Lions completed their non-conference record with a 10-4 record. The Lions then moved into their LSC schedule, and they excelled at home with a 5-1 conference record. The road wasn't quite as friendly; A&M-Commerce went just 3-3 in LSC road games. In the first round of the t
ournament Midwestern State took down the Lions 82-67.

Desmond King was the scoring leader in 2010, totaling 437 points. King also led in rebounds with 185, and finished second in blocks with 16. Stefon Carson had 100 assists, pacing the Lions there, and Brad Hambrick had 40 steals to lead in that category.

King was the LSC Newcomer of the Year, and First Team All-LSC. Hambrick was Second Team All-LSC, and Tyris Dowell was an Honorable Mention honoree. Andrew Davis earned his first of three All-Academic awards.
