Fourth Season (47-24-4 Overall; 20-9-1 LSC)
LSC Semifinalists
The Lions turned in a 9-8-2 record in Coach Piper's fourth year at the helm, going 5-2 in conference play. A&M-Commerce would qualify for the LSC Tournament, only to be knocked off by Central Oklahoma in the opening round. West Texas A&M would be crowned champions that season.
Six Lions earned the distinction of seeing action in all 19 games of the season: Zita Tiamuh, Richelle Magelhaes, Kristyn Turner, Sree Kolloru, Jana Sandall and Amber Lewis. Tiamuh led A&M-Commerce in both goals (nine) and points (24), while Magalhaes was the top distributor with eight assists. Sarah Fagan was once again the last line of defense for the Lions, cobbling together 81 saves and five shutouts for a 1.16 GAA and .802 save percentage in 1553 minutes played.
