Head Coach: Craig Case (Second Season)
Overall Record:25-32
LSC Record:10-24
First Team All-LSC
Rachel Roberston
Second Team All-LSC
Jordan Neal
All-LSC Academic
Rachel Robertson
Case's second year at the helm would be struck by the sophomore slumps. The Lions finished the season 11-17 (6-14 LSC). A&M-Commerce won its first game of the season, a three-set domination of Henderson State. Three losses followed that first win, and only two more wins would come in the month of September (Texas Woman?s and Arkansas-Monticello). Lion Volleyball's record through September: 3-10, 1-7 LSC. October was significantly kinder to A&M-Commerce, with wins over five conference opponents, Dallas Bap
tist, Southeastern Oklahoma, and Henderson State. The season concluded on a positive note, a four-set win over Eastern New Mexico. Sadly, the Lions missed the playoffs for consecutive seasons.
Rachel Robertson again led the Lions in kills, accruing 358. Jordan Neal broke the 1,000 assist mark in 2011 with 1,047, and also led in service aces with 41. Dakota Crockett (331) had the most digs, and Robertson led in total blocks with 97.
Robertson snagged a spot on the First Team All-LSC in 2011, a first for both Robertson and Case. Roberston was also honored for her academic achievements with an All-Academic award. Neal garnered a spot on the Second Team All-LSC.
