Case's third season was a return to winning ways for A&M-Commerce volleyball. The Lions finished 20-11 (11-9 LSC). 2012 started out pretty great with a five-game winning streak, and a 12-4 record through September. A three-game losing streak in late September and early October knocked the Lions off course briefly, but they quickly got back on track with a four-game win streak against Henderson State, A&M-Kingsville, Incarnate Word, and at Eastern New Mexico. The Lions traded wins and losses the rest of th
e season, and advanced to the LSC tournament for the first time in Case's career. Lion volleyball faced Texas Woman's in the first round of the tournament, and lost in four sets.
Rachel Robertson dominated at the net for third year in a row, leading the Lions in kills (407) and total blocks (84). Jordan Neal continued to be an offensive focus with 1,124 assists and 39 service aces, Michaela Spicer led in digs with 539.
Robertson's efforts finally earned her the LSC Offensive Player of the Year acclimation, and a second consecutive First Team All-LSC spot. Neal was named to the Second Team All-LSC for consecutive years, and Breanne Snyder was awarded an Honorable Mention All-LSC spot. Robertson and Kayla Bond were venerated academically with All-LSC Academic awards.
