2013 was one of the most successful seasons for Lion Volleyball in decades. The Lions finished 23-9 overall (9-7 LSC). Case guided the Lions to undefeated appearances at the Henderson State Lady Reddie Invitational and the Lubbock Christian Heartland/LSC Crossover. A&M-Commerce went 14-2 in non-conference games, and 7-0 in neutral site games. The Lions also took down every non-Texas school they faced in 2013, an impressive 12-0 record over schools from Alabama, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico. The Lion
s concluded the regular season with a 2-1 home stand, and made the conference tournament for consecutive years. Case's squad took down Tarleton State in four sets in the first round, and then took #6 West Texas to five sets before eventually losing.
Transfer Amy Davault led the Lions at the net with the most kills (426) and second-most digs (427). Jordan Neal dominated in her senior season, compiling 1,459 assists to lead the LSC. Breanne Snyder had the most service aces with 43, and Kayla Bond led in total blocks with 107.
Neal was named LSC Setter of the Year after leading the league in assists, and also earned a spot on the First Team All-LSC. Davault's efforts earned her recognition as the LSC Newcomer of the Year and First Team All-LSC. Bond and Ciara Holmes were named Honorable Mention All-LSC and All-Academic.
