Game 27 at Abilene, Texas
After a decent inaugural year in 90/91, second-year head coach Beth Palmer's team struggled in 91/92, getting off to a 3-19 start to the season. The Lions rallied to win their final four games of the regular season, and with a 5-9 record against LSC opponents, the Lions qualified for the LSC Tournament. In the first round, they pulled off the narrow 63-62 victory against the Texas Woman's Pioneers, advancing past the opening round for the first time in program history. Alas, their run was not to last, as
they would fall to Abilene Christian in the next round by a score of 78-72. The Lions would finish the year 8-20 overall, and Central Oklahoma would go on to claim the LSC Championship.
Pam Wilkerson was the team's leading scorer with 13.1 points per game. Sharon Sanders had the team's top rebounding mark with 6.1 rpg, while Kim Cooper once again racked up the most assists with 66. Stacy Norrell was also in the mix with double digit scoring.
