Head Coach: Denny Downing (First Season) - 6-21 Overall; 2-12 LSC
Eighth in South
With Charles Mancil exiting the scene after five seasons as head coach, it was Denny Downing's opportunity to try his luck at the helm of the Lions. The coaching transition proved to be difficult for the Lions, as they finished the season 6-21 overall, dropping 14 of their final 15 contests. With a 2-12 record against LSC competition, the Lions missed the LSC Tournament. Northeastern State would go on to win their first LSC Championship in program history.
Chianti Johnson was the central cog for A&M-Commerce, leading the Lions in every countable category (14.3 PPG, 6.7 RPG, 71 assists, 15 blocks, 84 steals). Amy Putman and Toyelle Rickson were also prominently involved, as each averaged double-digit scoring.
