Head Coach: Nicole Anderson (First Season) - 4-22 Overall 1-13 LSC
8th Place in North
With the departure of head coach Denny Downing, A&M-Commerce brought in Nicole Anderson to take the lead of the women's basketball program, and the transition proved to be a difficult one. After a 3-4 start, the Lions went on to lose 18 of their next 19 games. With a 1-13 record against conference opponents, the Lions missed the LSC Tournament. West Texas A&M would go on to claim their third consecutive LSC Championship, their 11th in school-history.
Mattilyn McIntyre led the Lions in scoring (16.5 PPG) and steals (40), while Ashley Murphy was the team's top-rebounder with 8 boards per game. Nikki Garner was the team's best passer with 62 assists on the year. Genevieve Campbell was also prominently involved with 11.9 points per game.
